Stackd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and your rights. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

We do not collect any data from your employer's systems. We do not access your work email, CRM, or any external platform.

When you use AI features (dispute emails, raise requests, STAR answers, etc.), your input is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. This means Anthropic processes the text you submit as a prompt.
We use Anthropic's API under their standard commercial terms. Anthropic states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models by default. However, we recommend you do not include sensitive personal identifiers (national ID numbers, passport details, bank account numbers) in your AI prompts. Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements. We select providers that maintain appropriate security standards.
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS). Row-level security (RLS) policies ensure your data is only accessible to your authenticated account — no other user can access your deals or compensation data. We do not store plain-text passwords.
While we take security seriously, no system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you by email within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and deal records within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (for example, billing records which we keep for 7 years for tax purposes). Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely as they cannot identify you.
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. A cookie consent notice is shown on first visit — you can dismiss it to accept essential cookies only.

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will notify you by email.
